Hi guys! I'm been too long since my last outfit post I know!

Have you noticed I cut my hair? It's a lot shorter than before! Oh well, it'll grow. Anyway, this is the time for family get togethers, Christmas carols around the house, gorgeous decorations, a lot of hot chocolate aaaand presents of course! Have you been good boys and girls this year? What did you ask Santa to leave by your tree? :)

Can you believe November is just around the corner?? (Or more like tomorrow) October just flew by! 

Here are my November wishes, really love that sweater with the pearls!

We don't celebrate Halloween in Portugal, I mean, who says no to trick or treat, candy, pumpkins and bats? Apparently almost everyone around here! But we have something different, that involves chestnuts and walnuts so thats fine ;)

Colorful sweaters for fall

 As promised here is what I bought in Lisbon!
You realized by now my obsession in the necklace department. I just couldn't leave without them, they're too pretty :p 
The last one, I tried to find everywhere for ages and then suddenly, there it was! One explanation for the bright neon colors could be that I was refusing to accept that Summer is over and Fall took it's place, but isn't a valid one since Fall is my favorite season! (it's 28ºC right now, so Summer is still here) I just love when leaves change colors and it's cold to wear a jacket but you're not freezing, you know? And chestnuts, I heart chestnuts! roasted, cooked or raw! So I guess I'm just really into neon :)

OUTFIT // BATWOMAN

Lisbon was celebrating Santo António (a saint) so they fill the streets with these colorful strings of plastic. it's fun!

I can't resist a french bulldog on the street, or anywhere for that matter. They're cute beyond words.

"Ladybug Stand" - the diminutive of my name in Portuguese is Joaninha, we call ladybugs joaninhas, so that means I bring good luck right? :)

 And they eat sardines all day long, and night too. So, these were not eatable but they're way cuter than the real thing, 

the fish I mean.

Ok, I know batwoman was way sexier, but it was the first thing that came to my mind when I decided to open the "wings" of the kimono! (or jacket thing, as I like to call it - note that I say "jacket thing" in a sweet tone cause it's awesome!)

OUTFIT // AT THE PARK

I remember coming to this park ever since I was a little girl, it's just a place with a lot of grass where you can take off your shoes and be a kid again haha it brings good memories :)

Weather has been a real roller coaster lately, it's sunny when I get out of the house, and an hour later it's raining a lot! And then it all passes and it's sunny again! So you never know what to dress, you have to always be prepared!

Going to cut my hair next week, it always makes me sad haha, not going to chop it all off, just a little bit, but still.. You know what I mean :)

Sónia is in town for the holidays, so we went to this place called "Fortaleza de São Tiago", which is in fact a beautiful huge yellow castle! It's located in the old part of the city, and up there you can see all the Funchal bay and of course the ocean!

I know I haven't been around much since I moved here, but I'm trying my best to blog whenever I can!

Now, about the holidays, do you have any traditions at home? (besides eating candy and easter eggs, which is all I do? haha)
