 Maiata Beach, Porto da Cruz - It's on the Northeastern side of the Island, had my first surfing experience here years ago.

 Jardim do Mar, one of my favorite places in the Island

We stayed here a few days. So beautiful and peaceful.

Me, soaking up the sun or our terrace. You can see my mother's bonsais plants on your left and my collection of stones, corals and shells. For several years it was an obsession of mine, and I still tend to bring home shells or little stones when I visit a new beach I like!

It's almost torture to look at these pictures when it has been raining for almost two weeks now. I think my request for Fall got lost somewhere and Mother Nature never received it. :p

Maktub. The most awesome bar ever.

Hello dears! This is a bit of what these last days have been.

I spent two days in the most amazing places, Jardim do Mar and Paúl do Mar, so quiet and beautiful, with such a good vibe. We stayed in Maktub, the coolest residence that welcomes travelers from all over the world! You can take a peek here. 

Already missing those breathtaking sunsets.

Zara should hire me or pay me for spending so much money on their stores! I just can't help it, I want everything! Like this shirt, it has the perfect color and pretty collar tips, so I couldn't come home without it right? Haha (and I have some new things to show you, some from sale and others from the new collection - again, shame on me)

OUTFIT // BATWOMAN

Lisbon was celebrating Santo António (a saint) so they fill the streets with these colorful strings of plastic. it's fun!

I can't resist a french bulldog on the street, or anywhere for that matter. They're cute beyond words.

"Ladybug Stand" - the diminutive of my name in Portuguese is Joaninha, we call ladybugs joaninhas, so that means I bring good luck right? :)

 And they eat sardines all day long, and night too. So, these were not eatable but they're way cuter than the real thing, 

the fish I mean.

Ok, I know batwoman was way sexier, but it was the first thing that came to my mind when I decided to open the "wings" of the kimono! (or jacket thing, as I like to call it - note that I say "jacket thing" in a sweet tone cause it's awesome!)

How random is to find a (pardon my expression) bunch of Wally's on the street? Totally hilarious! With the glasses and all (not that I'm making fun of people wearing glasses, I wear glasses to read ok? - and I look like a dork wearing them)

So, we shot these at Lisbon, it was really hot (not the wally's, the weather!) so it was perfect to wear my lace shorts, without tights this time, and my beloved leopard shirt.

I don't have much more to say, except that it's blazing hot here in the Island and I'm going to the terrace to get some color on my phantom-white legs.
