Tomorrow I'm heading to the Island of the sun, (where apparently a major storm is waiting for me to arrive) again in a way too early flight, and it's always sad to leave this city. (Especially when you spent a whole week in bed. Boo.) But I'm planning to come back soon so that thought will have to do!

And as usual I'll show you later what I bought ;)

TRAVEL DIARY // LISBON

Hi everyone! 

I went to Lisbon to visit the boy, it's so weird to go there to visit him, when for the past 3 years was the other way around, since I was the one studying there! And now I'm back and he's studying aerospace engineering (so proud of him! :p)

So this means Lisbon will see me more often :D

I know I haven't been around much, but now I'm back from the "blogger holiday" if you will, and have a lot to tell and show you! (like what I bought in Lisbon)

This is what I decided to wear on a casual day in sunny Lisbon. (liar, I always have flats in my bag -emergency shoes- or I would fall and die in these cobblestones).

I wore this skirt on the first outfitpost I posted on the blog, here, it feels like ages ago!

I'm proud of my little blog, and how it turned out, and have to thank a million to my dear friend Sónia for her patience and talent and for taking hundreds of amazing pictures, when I only choose a few, cause I'm picky like that.

This is also her necklace and bag by the way ;)

And this is the last post from Lisbon (for now, not for ever).

Today is the last day of June, (already??) so that means my birthday is in less than a month!! YAY
I turn 23 on the 24th of July - always found funny that my birthday is on the 24/7, like it's all day every day :)

OUTFIT // BATWOMAN

Lisbon was celebrating Santo António (a saint) so they fill the streets with these colorful strings of plastic. it's fun!

I can't resist a french bulldog on the street, or anywhere for that matter. They're cute beyond words.

"Ladybug Stand" - the diminutive of my name in Portuguese is Joaninha, we call ladybugs joaninhas, so that means I bring good luck right? :)

 And they eat sardines all day long, and night too. So, these were not eatable but they're way cuter than the real thing, 

the fish I mean.

Ok, I know batwoman was way sexier, but it was the first thing that came to my mind when I decided to open the "wings" of the kimono! (or jacket thing, as I like to call it - note that I say "jacket thing" in a sweet tone cause it's awesome!)

Sónia made me put this one! That was my reaction to the wally's you see passing beneath.

How random is to find a (pardon my expression) bunch of Wally's on the street? Totally hilarious! With the glasses and all (not that I'm making fun of people wearing glasses, I wear glasses to read ok? - and I look like a dork wearing them)

So, we shot these at Lisbon, it was really hot (not the wally's, the weather!) so it was perfect to wear my lace shorts, without tights this time, and my beloved leopard shirt.

I don't have much more to say, except that it's blazing hot here in the Island and I'm going to the terrace to get some color on my phantom-white legs.
