Yes I did it! My boyfriend is a paragliding pilot and his friend Renato who does tandem flights, asked me if I wanted to fly, and of course I said yes! It was absolutely amazing! It's funny, at first I felt like I was watching a movie rather than really flying, maybe because I was really anxious, but calm in a way, because the weather was perfect, and I was really comfortable in the chair, like I was seated in a couch, but them, when he asked me if I wanted to take the control handles of the wing, it felt real! 
The take-off was at Rochão, at 750m of altittude!

Happy 2012!

New Year's Eve fireworks from my house in Madeira Island.

This year we had 8 minutes of beautiful fireworks around Funchal City!

When I first saw these gloves they immediately caught my attention, and why I didn't buy them? I have no idea! And then (as it happens with everything that i like but don't buy) they disappeared, even from the site, so I lost all hope. But Sónia found them gave me as a Christmas present! :)

As you can see it's warm and sunny around here, not really the kind of weather to wear gloves, but I couldn't wait!

 I love this Island, I'm still here and yet I'm thinking when I'll be coming back.

Happy Christmas

It is really “the most wonderful time of the year” for me! And it’s finally here!! I hope that you’re celebrating with your family and the ones you love! I celebrate Christmas Eve on the 24^th with my family since I was a kid, and yes, I still drink hot chocolate and wait until midnight to open the presents haha!

How cute is Tecas? It only took her 5 seconds to take the hat from her head and start to bite it! But I managed to take this one picture!

Maybe one day I’ll spend these days with snow, but for now its a 21ºC (67ºF) Christmas for us in sunny Madeira Island :)
