Hi guys! How was your Christmas? I spent it with my family and the boy in 23ºC weather :)

I made this little card for you, to thank you for your sweet comments and support this year, even though I sometimes disappear for a while haha! One of my goals this year is to work to keep this space like it was in the beginning!

Are you working on your new year's resolutions? Here in the Island we take this day very seriously, with a LOT of fireworks around the bay and beyond! Tecas doesn't like that much and always hides under the bed :p

Hi guys! I'm been too long since my last outfit post I know!

Have you noticed I cut my hair? It's a lot shorter than before! Oh well, it'll grow. Anyway, this is the time for family get togethers, Christmas carols around the house, gorgeous decorations, a lot of hot chocolate aaaand presents of course! Have you been good boys and girls this year? What did you ask Santa to leave by your tree? :)

MORNINGS

15 minutes. It's the time it takes to drink my cup of coffee in the morning. And it's also the time I have to go trough my favorite blogs and online shops. Of course that sometimes I cheat and drink it slowly so I can indulge a little bit more (and I tell myself - hey, it's not your fault that there are so many interesting things to see and buy! - yeah like a crazy person)

But those 15 minutes (err 30) are precious in my morning routine, right after all the boring tasks like taking care of my hair (that by the way takes forever) I have this moment, and then I'm ready for the day to begin!

As promised, here are my new friends! Turns out I didn't buy anything from the previous list, and it's actually how it goes with me, I make a list of things I like but end up buying other things. So, I didn't need another rock band t-shirt and 2 more beanies I needed a black bag, and this one is perfect! :p

Are you doing anything special this weekend? I'll work on our Christmas decorations!

TRAVEL DIARY // SEE YOU SOON LISBON

Tomorrow I'm heading to the Island of the sun, (where apparently a major storm is waiting for me to arrive) again in a way too early flight, and it's always sad to leave this city. (Especially when you spent a whole week in bed. Boo.) But I'm planning to come back soon so that thought will have to do!

And as usual I'll show you later what I bought ;)

LOOKING BACK // SUMMER MEMORIES

Walks, picnics and barbecues in the mountains

 Maiata Beach, Porto da Cruz - It's on the Northeastern side of the Island, had my first surfing experience here years ago.

 Jardim do Mar, one of my favorite places in the Island

We stayed here a few days. So beautiful and peaceful.

Me, soaking up the sun or our terrace. You can see my mother's bonsais plants on your left and my collection of stones, corals and shells. For several years it was an obsession of mine, and I still tend to bring home shells or little stones when I visit a new beach I like!

It's almost torture to look at these pictures when it has been raining for almost two weeks now. I think my request for Fall got lost somewhere and Mother Nature never received it. :p

Can you believe November is just around the corner?? (Or more like tomorrow) October just flew by! 

Here are my November wishes, really love that sweater with the pearls!

We don't celebrate Halloween in Portugal, I mean, who says no to trick or treat, candy, pumpkins and bats? Apparently almost everyone around here! But we have something different, that involves chestnuts and walnuts so thats fine ;)
